It is designed for allround freshwater fishing for pike, perch and zander with small to medium-sized lures weighing 8–70 g. Choose it for lure casting within that stated range, rather than treating it as an ultralight or heavy big-bait specialist.
This model has its handle on the left and a 6.5:1 gear ratio, retrieving 71 cm per handle turn. It suits anglers who prefer winding with their left hand, and the retrieve figure helps you judge line pickup when working lures.
The magnetic brake provides consistent spool braking for controlled casts. The separate multi-disc drag is adjusted by a star and has a maximum drag of 6.8 kg, providing smooth resistance when a fish takes line. Casting control and fish-fighting resistance therefore serve different stages of fishing.
The aluminium spool holds 145 m at 0.28 mm, 120 m at 0.32 mm or 85 m at 0.38 mm. Compare the capacity for your chosen diameter, as thicker monofilament leaves less line length available.
The compact ergonomic body, graphite frame and sideplates keep the reel at 205 g. Its 90 mm aluminium handle with two soft-touch PVC knobs gives a comfortable grip during repeated retrieves, making these handling features relevant for longer lure-fishing sessions.

The DAM QUICK INTENZE BC LP-L is a left-hand, low-profile baitcasting reel for allround freshwater lure fishing for pike, perch and zander. Designed for small to medium-sized lures weighing 8–70 g, it uses a magnetic brake system to provide consistent brake pressure and precise casting control.
The compact LP model has a 6.5:1 gear ratio and retrieves 71 cm of line per handle turn, giving you a clear reference for managing lure speed and picking up slack. The handle is on the left, so choose this version if you prefer to wind with your left hand. Its aluminium spool holds 145 m of 0.28 mm monofilament, 120 m of 0.32 mm or 85 m of 0.38 mm. These capacities show how the available line length changes with diameter.
The magnetic casting brake controls the spool during the cast. A separate multi-disc drag system provides smooth resistance while playing a fish, with a maximum drag of 6.8 kg and star-drag adjustment. The drag material is Rulon. Instant anti-reverse prevents backward handle rotation, supporting direct control when tension comes onto the line.
A graphite frame and sideplates keep the reel weight at 205 g. The compact, ergonomic body is designed for comfortable handling during repeated casting. The 90 mm aluminium handle arm has two soft-touch PVC knobs for a comfortable grip when retrieving.
The 4+1 stainless steel bearings support smooth operation. A strong brass gear provides powerful drive and is designed for extended gear life, useful for regular predator lure fishing. The supplier specifies freshwater use.
