It is intended for freshwater perch, pike and zander fishing in rivers and lakes. The supplier lists spinning, jigging along bank edges, softbaits near the bottom and trolling plugs, so it covers several lure presentations rather than one specialist method.
The aluminium spool holds 205 m of 0.23 mm line. The supplier also allows 0.25–0.35 mm monofilament and appropriately rated braid, but gives no capacities for them. Use the stated 0.23 mm/205 m pairing as the capacity reference, not as a capacity for every diameter.
Yes. Instant Anti-Reverse prevents backward handle rotation when engaged, and an on/off lever lets you disengage it. This allows you to give line by backwinding during a fight without opening the drag.
The 3000FD weighs 260 g, has a 5.1:1 gear ratio and retrieves 71 cm per handle turn, with 4.5 kg maximum drag. These figures let you compare the reel's weight and retrieve speed with your planned rod-and-lure setup.

The DAM Quick Iconic is a spinning reel for freshwater perch, pike and zander fishing. Its 4+1 stainless steel bearings provide a smooth, quiet retrieve, while the reinforced bail arm adds stability when retrieving and playing fish. It suits beginners and experienced anglers fishing rivers and lakes, in both still and flowing water.
The 3000FD can be used for spinning, jigging along bank edges, working softbaits near the bottom and trolling plugs. Its 5.1:1 gear ratio and 71 cm retrieve per handle turn give you the figures needed to compare retrieve speed with your preferred lure presentation. Maximum drag is 4.5 kg.
Instant Anti-Reverse prevents the handle from turning backwards when engaged, giving a direct response during the fight. An on/off lever lets you disengage it when you want to give line by backwinding rather than opening the drag. The aluminium handle arm has an ergonomic EVA knob for a secure, comfortable grip during longer sessions.
The graphite body and rotor keep weight down, with the complete reel weighing 260 g. The aluminium spool holds 205 m of 0.23 mm line. This stated diameter-and-length pairing is the useful reference for planning how much line to load. The supplier also lists 0.25–0.35 mm monofilament and appropriately rated braid as suitable, without giving capacities for those lines. Freshwater use is specified, saltwater suitability is not stated.
