It is intended for medium-duty freshwater predator fishing for perch, pike and zander, including spinning and jigging softbaits. Its size 3000 format and 4+1 stainless steel bearings make it an option for these lure-fishing setups, rather than a reel specifically presented for ultralight fishing.
The aluminium spool holds 205 m of 0.23 mm line. With a 5.1:1 gear ratio, the stated retrieve is 71 cm per handle turn, so you can compare both line requirements and retrieve speed before choosing your setup.
Yes. Instant Anti-Reverse prevents backward rotor movement when engaged, while its on/off lever lets you disable it. You can therefore choose whether to keep reverse rotation blocked during handling and the fight.

The DAM Quick Iconic is a spinning reel for perch, pike and zander in freshwater. Its 4+1 stainless steel bearings provide an even retrieve when spinning or jigging softbaits. The 3000Fd Pink version suits medium-duty predator fishing and is intended for beginners as well as experienced anglers.
This size 3000 reel weighs 260 g and combines a 5.1:1 gear ratio with 71 cm of line retrieve per handle turn. These figures help you compare retrieve speed and reel weight when choosing a setup. The aluminium spool holds 205 m of 0.23 mm line, and the stated drag force is 4.5 kg.
Instant Anti-Reverse prevents backward rotor movement, maintaining direct contact during the fight. An on/off lever lets you disengage the function when required. The reinforced bail arm and reinforced graphite body and rotor support the reel under load while keeping weight down.
The aluminium handle arm has an ergonomic EVA knob for a comfortable grip during repeated retrieves and longer sessions. After fishing, wipe the reel dry and check the bail arm and rotor for dirt. Occasional lubrication of moving parts with suitable reel oil helps maintain smooth operation.
