Wrap the feeder line around both sticks until you reach the reel's line clip. This lets you determine the distance represented by the clipped line, rather than estimate it by eye.
The set contains two 70 cm sticks and a 5 m cord with three sliders. The cord gives you a known setup length, and the sliders provide precise reference markings for measuring your fishing distance.
Each stick has a sturdy point for pushing into the ground, so setup requires ground that accepts the points. Smooth surfaces and plastic top caps allow the line to wrap easily without damage during measurement.
