The Bullseye Surgeon Cast is a light casting rod built for exact lure control and clear feedback when fishing finesse rigs, small jigs, wobblers, and surface lures. It is aimed at ultralight and perch-focused anglers who want a crisp blank with enough reserve for stronger fish.
The Surgeon Cast was developed to close the gap for very light lure work in the range below stronger perch and light predator rods. Its fast, accentuated action helps transmit bottom contact and bites clearly, while still loading well with low lure weights.
Supplier information highlights the blank's direct transmission and controlled fighting power. That makes the rod especially suitable for rig fishing, where bite detection and solid hooksets matter, but it also works well with compact hardbaits and topwater lures.
The slim blank uses cross wrapping and is paired with Fuji components, including an ECSM reel seat and Fuji RV Ti SiC guides in a micro-guide layout. This setup is designed to support precise casting and efficient line flow.
The two-piece construction makes transport easier without giving up the focused fishing feel of the rod. A supplied sleeve can also be used as a rodsleeve for the assembled rod, which helps protect it between sessions.
