The elastic bands fit different spool diameters across the entire Black Cat reel range. They may fit other brands, but this is not guaranteed and no diameter range is stated, so compatibility outside Black Cat needs checking.
Stretch it around the spool to hold the main line in place while the reel is not in use. The large pull tab allows quick removal without tools, even with wet hands or gloves, so the reel can be readied for fishing without fiddling with the band.
One pack contains two bands, enough for two spools. They keep main line from unwinding during storage and transport between freshwater catfish sessions, useful when carrying several reels.

Black Cat Spulenbänder are elastic spool bands for storing and transporting reels between freshwater catfish sessions. Stretch a band around the spool to secure the main line, preventing unwanted unwinding and tangles with other tackle. Each pack contains two bands, enough to secure two spools.
Made from 100% neoprene, the bands adapt to different spool diameters throughout the Black Cat reel range. Their elastic fit distributes pressure evenly without placing harmful point pressure on the line winding. No minimum or maximum diameter is specified. They may also fit other brands, but compatibility is only assured for Black Cat reels.
A large pull tab lets you remove the band quickly without tools, including with wet hands or gloves. This makes it easier to ready stored reels for use or switch reels when fishing with several rods.
