Black Cat's Rubber Line Stop beads are purpose-built stoppers that fix the position of an underwater float (U-float) or a running lead on a catfish rig. They are engineered for heavy catfish leaders and grip both braided and monofilament material without marking the line.
Catfish anglers rely on U-poses and running-lead setups to present deadbaits and livebaits at a defined depth or drift distance. A slipping stopper ruins that presentation. These rubber beads sit tight on the leader and hold the float or lead exactly where it is set.
The soft rubber compresses around the line, generating friction strong enough for the pull of a big cat while remaining gentle on the leader. Use them on braided main lines and monofilament leaders alike.
Use the beads above an underwater float to lock the fishing depth, or above a running lead to limit how far the lead can slide. They fit static float presentations and drifting rigs for catfish in rivers, reservoirs and lakes.
