They are loose single hooks for tying catfish rigs and leaders, including underwater float and buoy rigs. The long shank and pronounced offset support effective hooking, so they suit anglers building these setups rather than buying a pre-tied rig.
Yes. The supplier specifies that the bent, welded eye is also suitable for monofilament leaders without the hook sticking outwards. You can therefore consider it for a mono catfish leader, although no compatible line diameter is specified.
This pack contains six single hooks in size #7/0. Choose it when your rig calls for that hook size and you want loose hooks for tying your own leaders, rather than a complete rig.
The supplier describes DG Coating as much smoother than Teflon® and states four times higher corrosion resistance than conventional coatings. It is the coating option for this hook, offering a smooth surface and improved corrosion protection without claiming that the hook is corrosion-proof.
Use a safe container and keep the hooks out of children’s reach. Their sharp points can cause serious injury, so careful handling and proper disposal of used or damaged hooks are necessary to prevent accidents.

The Black Cat Power Rig Hook DG is a strong single hook for tying catfish rigs and leaders, including underwater float rigs and buoy rigs. Its extended shank and pronounced offset help it turn into the fish’s mouth, allowing the long, sharp point to take hold effectively.
The large eye is bent and welded. It is also suitable for monofilament leaders, keeping the hook from sticking outwards in that setup. This makes it an option when tying your own monofilament catfish leaders.
DG Coating has a surface described by the supplier as much smoother than Teflon®. The supplier also states four times higher corrosion resistance than conventional coatings, an important durability feature for a hook exposed to water.
This version is size #7/0 and contains six loose single hooks for tying your own rigs, not a pre-tied leader.
Sharp hooks can cause serious injury. Handle them carefully and check their suitability for the intended use before fishing. Transport and store them only in a safe container, out of children’s reach. Dispose of used or damaged hooks properly to prevent injury. Follow the safety and usage instructions, as the manufacturer excludes liability for damage or injury caused by improper use, storage or transport.
