It is designed for catfish with baitfish and other natural baits such as worms or squid just off the bottom. The Lightning U-Float supplies buoyancy and the two-single-hook hair rig secures the bait, making it a ready-made option for this near-bottom presentation.
Yes, the mounted Lightning U-Float accepts standard snaplights at the rear, facing the bait. The light source directly above the bait provides an extra attraction for catfish. The supplier does not specify snaplight dimensions or confirm that a snaplight is included.
You receive one assembled rig with a 200 cm leader, 1.20 mm line diameter, two size 6/0 single hooks and a Lightning U-Float. These dimensions identify the supplied version, so you can compare its length, diameter and hook size with your intended setup. No breaking strain is stated.
Handle it carefully and transport and store the hooks in a safe container out of children's reach. The sharp hooks can cause serious injury, so check their suitability before use and dispose of used or damaged hooks properly. Follow the supplied safety and usage instructions.
No questions asked, 30 days to return.

The Black Cat Lighting Rig is a ready-made catfish leader from Stefan Seuß for presenting baitfish, worms or squid just above the bed. Its mounted Lightning U-Float provides buoyancy, while a hair rig with two single hooks secures the bait. The pre-tied construction saves tying the leader at the water.
The Lightning U-Float holds standard snaplights at the rear, facing the bait. This places a light source directly above the bait to provide an extra attraction for catfish, alongside the natural bait presentation.
This version has a 200 cm leader, a 1.20 mm line diameter and two size 6/0 single hooks. One assembled rig is supplied. The supplier describes the ready-made leaders as built from durable materials for catfish fights, but gives no breaking strain or specific material composition.
The sharp hooks can cause serious injury. Handle them carefully and check that they are suitable for the intended use. Transport and store them in a safe container out of children's reach, and dispose of used or damaged hooks properly. Follow the supplied safety and usage instructions. The manufacturer accepts no liability for injury or damage caused by improper use, storage or transport.
