Yes. The serrated blades cut both braided and monofilament line, including thick diameters, making them suitable for preparing rigs and trimming knot ends. The supplier does not specify a maximum line diameter.
The soft-touch handles provide a comfortable hold during rig preparation. A built-in loop lets you attach a lanyard and tether the scissors while working. The supplier confirms the attachment loop, but does not state that a lanyard is included.

The Black Cat HD Braid Scissors are heavy-duty fishing scissors for preparing rigs and neatly trimming knots, including when setting up for catfish. Their serrated blades cut braided and monofilament line, even at thick diameters, so you can use the same tool for both line types.
The blades are made from titanium-coated 420J2 stainless steel. Their serrated cutting edges provide the clean line cuts needed when making rigs and finishing knots.
Soft-touch handles make the scissors comfortable to hold during rig preparation. They come in Black Cat's black and yellow colours. A built-in loop allows you to attach a lanyard to keep the tool tethered while working.
