The Black Cat Hard Bead is a hard plastic bead designed for catfish rigs, especially for use with propeller underwater floats (U-floats) on monofilament leaders. It gives your components a free-spinning seat and shields your knots from running lead damage.
Slide a Hard Bead between the stopper and a winged U-float so the propeller can spin freely in the current without snagging. It is also a dependable knot protector, stopping a running lead from hammering directly onto the swivel knot.
Made from hard plastic, the beads suit monofilament leaders up to 1.4 mm in diameter. Each bead measures 8 mm, offering the right mass and surface to let wings and propellers rotate smoothly.
Supplied in a generous pack of 50 pieces, giving you plenty of spares for a full season of catfish sessions and fresh rigs.
