They are particularly suited to deadbait and multi-hook rigs, replacing a conspicuous treble with a discreet single hook. They also suit underwater-float rigs, buoy rigs and vertical systems for active or static catfish fishing. Choose them as loose hooks for building your rig, not as a complete pre-tied rig.
Insert the two barbed rear spikes beneath the baitfish's skin. They hold the hook at a 90° angle with its sharp point standing away from the bait, securing the bait without using the main hook point for attachment.
DG Coating provides a surface smoother than Teflon® and, according to the supplier, four times the corrosion resistance of conventional coatings. It offers a smooth finish with increased corrosion resistance, but does not replace safe handling and storage.
The pack contains five DG-coated single hooks in size 7/0. All five are the same size, so this is not a mixed-size selection.

The Black Cat Ghost Rig Hook DG is a strong single hook for catfish fishing with baitfish, particularly deadbait and multi-hook rigs. It replaces a conspicuous treble with a less visible hook presentation, intended for cautious catfish. Two barbed spikes on the rear fix the hook beneath the baitfish's skin at a 90° angle, leaving the sharp hook point standing away from the bait.
Insert the two rear spikes beneath the baitfish's skin to secure the hook directly to the bait. This separates bait attachment from the exposed hook point. The hooks suit active and static catfish fishing, including underwater-float rigs, buoy rigs and vertical systems. They are loose hooks for building rigs, not complete pre-tied rigs.
DG Coating has a surface smoother than Teflon® and, according to the supplier, four times the corrosion resistance of conventional coatings.
This version contains five single hooks in size 7/0 with DG coating.
