It redirects the laid-out main line around sharp stones, riprap, groynes and other obstacles on its way to the bait. This is useful where a direct line path would expose the main line to those hazards, including when fishing subfloat rigs.
It screws onto banksticks, tripod adapters or buzzer bars, so it can be mounted on these supports. The long line support prevents the main line from slipping out sideways, helping maintain the chosen route around obstacles.

The Black Cat Deflector is a line diverter for catfish fishing, including subfloat rigs. It redirects the laid-out main line around obstacles on its way to the rig and bait, helping keep it away from sharp stones, riprap and groynes.
The diverter screws onto banksticks, tripod adapters or buzzer bars. Its long line support holds the main line securely and prevents it from slipping out sideways, maintaining the intended line path where obstacles threaten the line.
This version is 9 cm wide and black.
