The Black Cat Battle Sounder Set 2+1 is built for stationary catfish fishing from the bank and from a boat. This wireless bite indicator set pairs the alarms with the included receiver via I-Com technology and helps you react quickly with a quick-release adapter system.
The sealed housing is designed to cope with rain, wind, dust and cold. The supplier states an IP66 protection rating, so the set is suited to harsh weather when you stay out for long catfish sessions.
A screw-on quick-release plate lets you attach or remove the bite indicator quickly from the rod blank. If needed, the plate can stay on the rod after the session, which also makes storage in the supplied hard case easier.
The Battle Sounder measures the tilt angle of the tensioned rod and then lets you fine-tune sensitivity for wind, waves and baitfish movement. Tone pitch and sensitivity can each be adjusted in eight settings, and the alarm LED can be programmed in different colours.
Boat mode offers four sensitivity settings for fishing from a moving or rocking boat, while bank mode covers static setups on shore. The set also includes a snap-back alarm, night light function and low battery warning to support long sessions.
This version includes two bite indicators and one receiver. It runs on AA batteries, which are not included.
