The Black Cat Bankstick (Erdspieß — ground spike) is a telescopic aluminium bank stick designed specifically for mounting line diverters in catfish (Wels catfish) fishing, with the flexibility to serve as a rod rest or bite alarm holder too.
Extending steplessly from 90 cm up to 165 cm, this bankstick lets you position a single diverter or a full tripod setup exactly where you need it — high enough to guide your mainline clear of the water surface and around obstacles before it drops to the rig. The continuous adjustment means no fiddling with fixed increments on uneven banks.
The threaded head accepts a single line diverter for a straightforward two-rod layout, or pairs with the Black Cat Tripod Adapter to support a buzzer bar carrying two diverters simultaneously. Either way, your catfish lines stay elevated over long distances, reducing drag and keeping them free from bankside snags.
