It is intended for baitfish and other natural baits when targeting catfish just off the bottom. The mounted Tree U-Float provides buoyancy, so choose this rig for a natural-bait presentation just above the bed.
One ready-made leader is supplied, with a Tree U-Float and a hair rig comprising two size 6/0 single hooks. The rig is already assembled, so attach a suitable natural bait to the hair rig rather than tying the hook arrangement yourself.
The leader is 200 cm long and uses 1.2 mm line. No numerical breaking strain is stated, so use the length and diameter to assess the dimensions for your setup rather than treating them as a load rating.
Transport and store it in a safe container out of children's reach because the sharp hooks can cause serious injury. Handle the hooks carefully and dispose of used or damaged hooks safely to avoid injuries.
No questions asked, 30 days to return.

The Black Cat Baitfish Tree Rig is a ready-made catfish leader from Stefan Seuß for presenting baitfish and other natural baits just above the bed. Its mounted Tree U-Float provides buoyancy, while the pre-tied hair rig holds the bait with two single hooks. It suits anglers who want an assembled bait rig rather than tying the components themselves.
The spiral-shaped body of the Tree U-Float creates pressure waves and water turbulence above the bait to attract catfish. The underwater float supports an off-bottom presentation, making this rig appropriate when the bait should sit just clear of the bed.
The rig is 200 cm long, with a line diameter of 1.2 mm and two size 6/0 single hooks. One ready-made leader is supplied. Attach a suitable natural bait to the hair rig for use. The leader is designed for the demands of fighting catfish, but no numerical breaking strain is supplied.
The sharp hooks can cause serious injury. Handle them carefully and check their suitability for the intended use. Transport and store the rig in a safe container, out of children's reach. Dispose of used or damaged hooks safely and follow the supplied safety and usage instructions.
