The Berkley x5 Braid takes conventional 4-strand PE braided line to the next level by adding a fifth strand for increased strength, reliability, and abrasion resistance.

Designed for thick vegetation and heavy cover

The 5-strand construction delivers optimal strength and abrasion resistance, letting you fish confidently in weed-choked waters and heavy cover. The extra strand cuts through vegetation more effectively than traditional 4-strand braids, giving you an edge when targeting fish in demanding environments.

100% PE fibres for reliable performance

Made entirely from PE (polyethylene) fibres, this uncoated braid offers consistent casting and sensitivity. The Low-Vis Green colour blends naturally in most freshwater and saltwater conditions while remaining visible enough for bite detection.
