It is a freshwater earthworm imitation for perch, trout, roach and small carp. The supplier supports bottom fishing, drifting and light jigging, so the same bait can be used for both bait-style presentations and gentle active fishing.
The small jar contains 42 worms in Natural, described as brown, with 40 g declared net contents. This is not the weight of an individual worm, so it should not be used as a single-bait casting weight.
Gulp! releases scent and flavour into the water. Berkley claims 400 times greater scent dispersion than ordinary plastic bait, extending attraction beyond the worm's visible outline. It is a scented alternative to live worms, but the manufacturer's favourable field-test comparisons do not guarantee catches.

Berkley Gulp!® Mini Earthworm is a lifelike soft imitation of a small earthworm for freshwater fishing. It suits perch, trout, roach and small carp, with a natural brown appearance and the Gulp! formulation releasing scent and flavour into the water. This provides an attraction signal beyond the bait's visible profile.
The worms can be fished on the bottom, allowed to drift or worked with light jigging movements. They offer a durable, strongly scented alternative to live worms across these presentations, rather than being limited to one retrieve.
Berkley claims 400 times greater scent dispersion for Gulp! than for ordinary plastic bait, expanding the area in which fish can detect it. The manufacturer also reports that its natural formulation outperformed live bait in head-to-head field tests. These are supplier-reported comparisons, not a guarantee of catches.
The GMEW-NAT version comes in Natural, described as brown by the supplementary supplier. Each small jar contains 42 worms with a declared net weight of 40 g. The 40 g figure is the jar's net contents, not the weight of one worm.
