A Secure Foundation on Curved Surfaces

Made from flexible soft PVC, the pad features integrated grooves that allow it to conform closely to the curved contours of a belly boat or inflatable dinghy. This close fit maximises contact area and adhesion, so the pad stays firmly in place even when you're reaching out to cast or net a fish.

Compatible Beyond the Berkley Ecosystem

While designed as the base for the Berkley Mount Base with Lock, the pad can also accept Star Port fittings from other brands when metric screws are used. Before fitting any screws, always measure the chamber depth (32 mm diameter, 12 mm deep) to avoid puncturing the boat tube. The included hardware — four 304 stainless-steel screws (¼ × ⁷⁄₈ in / 22 mm) — is corrosion-resistant and ready for freshwater and sheltered saltwater use.
