They are primarily spoon hooks, but their eyes also allow attachment to plugs and other hardbaits with a suitable split ring or direct connection. Choose a lure with a compatible attachment for the size 6 hook.

Yes. Alongside trout and perch spoon fishing, the supplier explicitly lists saltwater use and coastal sea-trout fishing. Material and corrosion protection are not specified, so the saltwater designation should not be taken as a claim of rustproof construction.

Balzer Trout Attack single hooks are designed for spoon fishing for trout and perch. Their UV-active colours provide an extra visual stimulus in murky water or low light, while the eye allows attachment to spoons and other compatible artificial lures.
The set contains six size 6 hooks, with two each in yellow, orange and green. This lets you change the hook colour to suit the conditions without changing the whole lure. The supplier suggests yellow or orange for murky water and weak light, and green for clearer water and stronger light.
The hooks attach by the eye via a split ring or a compatible direct attachment. The supplier describes mounting without additional tools. They are primarily intended for spoons, but can also be fitted to plugs and other hardbaits with a suitable connection. Supported uses include light trolling and twitching in flowing water.
The supplier also specifies saltwater use, including coastal spoon fishing for sea trout. No material or corrosion-protection specification is supplied.
