The bankstick mounts between two pier planks, with its crossbar locking underneath them. Your fishing spot therefore needs a gap between the planks and space below them for the crossbar to move and turn.
The telescopic bankstick adjusts from 40 to 65 cm. You can vary the support height within this range to suit your setup on the pier.
Insert it between two planks, press the spring down to lower the crossbar beneath them, then turn the bankstick while keeping the spring pressed. This locks the crossbar under the planks for secure support. Reverse these steps to remove it.

The Balzer Steg Bankstick is a patented telescopic bankstick for fishing from planked piers. Its spring-operated crossbar locks beneath the planks to fix the rod support securely to the pier. The sturdy construction is easy to fit using the gap between two planks.
The length adjusts from 40 to 65 cm, letting you vary the support height within this range.
Insert the bankstick into the gap between two planks. Press the spring down so the crossbar moves below the planks. Keep the spring pressed and turn the bankstick until the crossbar locks beneath them. The support is now securely fixed to the pier. This mounting method requires a gap between the planks and room for the crossbar underneath.
To remove the bankstick, carry out these steps in reverse order.
