The Balzer Shirasu Superior Pike Machine is a spinning rod for pike fishing with medium to large lures. Its slim, powerful Superior Carbon blank with Super Fast Taper Action supports long, accurate casts and controlled lure presentation while retaining feedback when playing fish.
This more compact alternative to the Pike Beast measures 230 cm and has a casting weight of 30–120 g. It suits softbaits up to 20 cm, jerkbaits and swimbaits within that weight range. Alongside active spinning, it can also be used for trolling.
Partly woven carbon adds stability and durability to the blank. At 189 g, the rod remains light despite its substantial casting rating. Duplon grips provide the contact surfaces for casting and playing fish.
