The Shirasu Superior Night Hunter is a spinning rod developed for zander fishing at dusk and in darkness. Its fast, balanced Superior Carbon blank with Super Fast Taper Action supports precise lure control and bite detection when visibility is limited.
The semi-parabolic action suits shallow-running wobblers and helps hook cautious zander. Deep-diving wobblers are also supported, so the rod can be used during daylight as well. The 250 cm model has a casting weight of 14–42 g, giving you a defined range for lure selection.
Partly woven carbon contributes to blank stability. Titanium SIC (silicon carbide) guides with Pro-Guide Concept guide the line, while Duplon grips provide the hand contact areas. A hook keeper gives you a place to secure the hook between casts. Stardust lacquer ahead of the grip and a pearlescent reel-seat locking screw give each rod an individual finish.
