The Balzer Shirasu Superior Cast 25 is a light baitcasting rod for precise lure fishing for perch, chub and trout. Its very fast Superior Carbon blank translates rod movements directly into lure action and hooksets.
At 190 cm long with a 5–25 g casting weight, it is designed for small artificial lures within that range. The rod weighs 113 g and has Duplon grips. Titanium SIC (silicon carbide) guides with Pro-Guide Concept support smooth line travel during casting and retrieving.
The two-piece blank separates in the middle, reducing its transport length to 100 cm for easier carrying. A hook keeper provides a place to secure the hook between fishing spots. The blank combines partially woven carbon with a Stardust finish, while the reel seat has a mother-of-pearl effect.
