Yes. The 242 cm rod is suitable for casting from either the bank or boat and is also suitable for trolling, so it covers both active lure fishing and towing lures.
The rod separates into two sections with a transport length of 126 cm. Allow that length in your transport setup, rather than the full assembled length of 242 cm.

The Balzer Shirasu Big Bait spinning rod is designed for pike fishing with large artificial lures. Its 85–160 g casting weight accommodates large softbaits, jerkbaits and swimbaits, with an action suited to both casting and playing fish.
At 242 cm, this model suits casting from the bank or boat and can also be used for trolling. It is designed for a fixed-spool reel, held by a precision reel seat.
The blank uses High Modulus IM-8 Carbon, and the rod weighs 241 g. Titanium SIC (silicon carbide) guides and the Pro Guide Concept form the line-guiding system. An ergonomic Duplon handle provides the grip for casting and playing fish. A removable hook keeper offers a place to secure the hook between casts.
The two sections join with a precisely ground spigot connection. A transport length of 126 cm makes the rod easier to carry than at its full fishing length.
