No, this version has no foam or wadding layer. It rolls up compactly for low-bulk transport, but does not offer the cushioning of a padded mat. Choose a padded version if cushioning is the priority. Exact rolled dimensions are not specified.
No separate tape is needed for measurements within the printed 130 cm scale. You can read the fish's length directly on the mat. The scale length does not establish the mat's overall dimensions.
The 100% polyester mat can be rinsed clean. After saltwater use, rinse it thoroughly with fresh water and let it air-dry completely before storing it.

The Balzer Shirasu is an unpadded unhooking mat for mobile predator fishing. Its lightweight, roll-up construction saves space in a rucksack or tackle bag, while the printed 130 cm scale lets you measure your catch directly on the mat without a separate tape measure.
Designed for unhooking pike, zander and perch, the mat suits river and coastal lure fishing, including jigging for zander and pike fishing with large lures. The straightforward handling and integrated scale suit beginners and experienced anglers alike. Fish motifs decorate the surface.
The unpadded design rolls up compactly for anglers who prioritise low weight and easy transport. It has no foam or wadding layer, so it does not provide the cushioning of a padded mat. Exact rolled dimensions are not specified. The 130 cm figure describes the measuring scale, not a confirmed overall mat length.
Made from 100% polyester, the mat can be rinsed clean. After saltwater use, rinse it thoroughly with fresh water. Let it air-dry completely before packing it away.
