It is primarily intended for freshwater deadbaiting and comes from Matze Koch's deadbait range. The supplier also supports spinning for perch and jigging for zander, with pike, zander and perch named as target species, so its use is not limited to deadbait rigs.
The double-secured closure opens quickly with one hand and stays locked under tension. This allows frequent bait changes while maintaining a secure connection between leader and bait.
The supplier specifies compatibility with common steel-wire and monofilament predator leaders. This version has an 8 kg strength rating, giving you the snap's stated rating to compare with your chosen leader and setup.
Each pack contains five matt black snaps. The coating reduces light reflections for a less conspicuous connection, particularly in clear water or around wary fish, and the pack provides spares for further rigs.
Rinse it with clean water after each session and store it dry. This is the supplier's care guidance to help maintain the opening mechanism for subsequent use.
No questions asked, 30 days to return.

The Balzer MK Adventure Sicherheits-Snap is a Duolock clip from Matze Koch's deadbait range for freshwater predator fishing. Its double-secured closure lets you change baits quickly while keeping the connection between leader and bait securely locked under tension. It can be opened with one hand, making frequent changes easier to handle.
Designed primarily for deadbaiting, the snap is also suitable for spinning for perch and jigging for zander. The supplier names pike, zander and perch as target species. It connects to common predator leaders, including steel-wire and monofilament leaders, so it can be used with either of these leader types.
The matt black coating reduces light reflections for a less conspicuous connection in the water, particularly in clear water or when targeting wary fish. This version has an 8 kg strength rating and comes in a pack of five snaps.
Rinse the snap with clean water after each session and store it dry to help keep the opening mechanism working properly.
