A purpose-built livebait rig for wels catfish, combining a subtle spinning propeller with a reliable two-hook setup on heavy-duty mono — ready for both casting and current fishing.
The small black micro-propeller produces a gentle, continuous rotation around the bait, creating vibration and visual stimulus that draws wels catfish in from a distance. The effect is subtle enough not to spook fish, yet consistent enough to convert follows into bites.
The rig works equally well with lead rigs for casting and with break-off stones in flowing water. The lower, smaller hook (3/0) is fixed in the bait's mouth, while the upper hook (5/0) rides free to improve hookup rate on short-striking fish.
