The Balzer Matze Koch UV Booster Natur Medium Runner is an 11cm, 11g hardcoded crankbait (a lipped diving lure) designed to put pike, zander, and other predators in the net. The Rainbow Trout colour gives it a lifelike baitfish profile that works straight out of the packet.
The lure's UV-reactive finish absorbs and re-emits UV light, making it visible to predators in coloured water, overcast skies, and deeper zones where natural colours fade. This passive edge means the lure is working for you even when conditions look tough.
With a running depth of 2 m, the Medium Runner sits perfectly in the mid-water column — right in the strike zone for zander and pike patrolling over weed edges, submerged structures, and river channels. The wobbling action is designed to trigger reaction bites during steady retrieves as well as erratic stop-and-go presentations.
