Its deep aluminium long-cast spool and delayed S-stroke oscillation lay the line evenly in a cross pattern, supporting consistent casting. It is intended for rivers and stillwaters, with method feeder applications for carp and tench and light feeder work for bream and roach.
The spool holds 230 m of 0.20 mm line. The MO model is specifically designed around monofilament, although braid can also be used. Its anti-twist line roller helps reduce line twist during retrieval. The gear ratio is 5.2:1, with seven stainless steel ball bearings and one needle bearing supporting smooth running.
Two rubber-buffered Release Clips provide different hardness levels on the reel. Use the softer clip with lighter feeders or weaker current, and the harder clip with heavier feeders or stronger current to resist unintended release. Both options are available without converting the reel. Ten spare Release Clips, five hard and five soft, and a Safety Line Clip are included.
The revised Micro Disc front drag (S.D.S.) offers fine adjustment for playing fish. The Total Tolerance Control System (T.T.C.) minimises play between the handle, gearing and drag to support an even retrieve. The Strong Bail-Concept uses lightweight aluminium for the bail, and the main shaft is stainless steel.
