It is a mackerel paternoster intended for sea fishing from a boat, pier or harbour edge. The same ready-made rig therefore suits both the stated boat and shore locations.
The rig is 180 cm long with size 1 hooks, a 0.60 mm rig body and 0.40 mm snoods. The thinner snoods support natural presentation, while the stated length and hook size let you compare it with your intended setup.
Green reflective glitter fringes imitate the shimmer of small baitfish, while moving fringes and colour-matched beads create visual attraction. This makes the rig an option for clear water and changing light conditions, including when targeting deeper water layers.

The Balzer Makrelenvorfach is a ready-made paternoster for targeting mackerel at sea from a boat, pier or harbour edge. Green reflective glitter fringes and colour-matched beads provide visual attraction, with the fringes imitating the shimmer of small baitfish.
The fringes reflect light and move in the water, creating a moving visual stimulus around the hooks. This presentation is intended for clear water and changing light conditions, and for attracting mackerel in deeper water layers.
This green version is 180 cm long and uses size 1 hooks. The rig body has a line diameter of 0.60 mm, while the snoods are 0.40 mm thick. The thinner snoods support a natural presentation of the dressed hooks.
