Yes. The supplier specifies herring fishing from boats, piers and harbours in the Baltic Sea and other sea areas. The same paternoster therefore covers both boat and shore use for herring.
Fish skin and beads provide visual attraction, with each dressed hook imitating a small baitfish. Jigging movements animate the imitations, while changing light makes them glint, combining movement with reflected light.
This version has five size 6 circle hooks on a 150 cm rig. The rig line is 0.40 mm in diameter and the snoods are 0.30 mm, so these are the dimensions to compare when choosing your herring rig.
Their curved shape helps them turn into the herring's mouth and take hold. This rig combines that hook shape with fish-skin dressings, providing both the baitfish imitation and the hooking function.

This herring paternoster is designed for fishing in the Baltic Sea and other sea areas, from a boat or from shore at piers and harbours. Five snoods each carry a circle hook dressed with fish skin. The small baitfish imitations attract herring when worked with jigging movements.
The circle hooks are shaped to turn into the herring's mouth and help the hooks take hold. Fish skin and beads provide visual attraction, while the dressings glint as the light angle and sunlight change. This combines movement and reflected light in the presentation.
The rig is 150 cm long and carries five size 6 hooks. The rig line diameter is 0.40 mm, with 0.30 mm snoods. These dimensions identify the supplied configuration for boat and shore herring fishing.
