The Balzer Diabolo Golden Circle Forelle is a light spinning rod for brown and rainbow trout in freshwater streams and rivers. Its fast IM-7 carbon blank provides bite sensitivity and control of small lures while retaining backbone for playing fish. It suits beginners and experienced trout anglers alike.
The rod is intended for small spoons, inline spinners and mini plugs. Slim Titanium SIC (silicon carbide) guides provide even, low-friction line guidance and reduce abrasion, making them suitable for thin monofilament or light braided lines.
At 1.80 m and 92 g, this model is compact for fishing narrow, overgrown stretches of water. The slim, ergonomic grip gives a secure hold during repeated casts and retrieves. A painted stainless steel/Nylon ABS reel seat holds the reel securely. Carbon Tape and the Stardust finish complete the blank's appearance. Golden Circle is the 12th Diabolo edition, marking the series' 25th anniversary in 2024 after its launch in 1999.
The two-section rod has a transport length of 95 cm, so check this length against your rod bag or storage space. After fishing, rinse with clean water and store dry. Check the reel seat and guide frames regularly for deposits and clean them as needed.
