With no external rod rings on the blank, the internal line-routing system eliminates the most common failure points on offshore rods. The result is a rod that shrugs off the rough handling of boat fishing, delivers an exceptionally smooth, even bend curve under load, and feeds line effortlessly through the Seaguide inlet and trumpet ring at the tip.

IM-12 Carbon Blank with Carbon Tape Wrap

The rod is built around a Japanese IM-12 carbon blank — a high-modulus material that keeps weight down to 350 g while providing the stiffness needed to work jigs at depth. The unground blank is reinforced with a carbon tape wrap for added torsional stability, ensuring clean power transmission even when fighting strong currents or heavy fish. FUJI Alconite ring guides (underwound) and a FUJI reel seat round out a well-specified blank.
