Balzer 71 Grad North Boat Inliner 25-35lbs 1,95m 200-700g Reiserute
incl. VAT, excl.
Built for serious Norway fishing trips, the Balzer 71 Grad North Boat Inliner is a rugged 3-piece travel rod that handles heavy rigs in deep water without compromise.
Rated at 25–35 lbs with a casting weight of 200–700 g, this rod is engineered for fishing heavy setups in great depths — targeting redfish (Sebastes), ling, and other powerful predators common in Norwegian waters. The blank is constructed from High Modulus IM-12 carbon fibre, delivering the backbone needed to work big weights while keeping overall rod weight at just 285 g.
At 1.95 m (195 cm) assembled and just 69 cm in transport length, the 3-piece construction fits easily into luggage for charter and expedition trips. The rod features underwrapped Titanium SiC (Silicon Carbide) guides for smooth, low-friction line flow, a split Duplon grip for a secure wet-weather hold, a FUJI reel seat for reliable reel mounting, and an aluminium cross-butt for use with fighting belts — essential when battling large fish from a boat.
This is currently the only listed variant in the Balzer 71 Grad North Boat Inliner range. It is designed specifically for deep-water boat fishing in demanding conditions:
