Choose a UL version for 1–7 g lures, the 742L for 2–10 g, the 622L for 3–14 g or either ML version for 3–15 g. All are intended for light lure fishing for perch, trout and chub, so use the rating to select the version that covers your lures before comparing lengths.
The 1–7 g UL rods come in 1.87 m, 2.13 m and 2.44 m, while the 3–15 g ML rods come in 2.29 m and 2.44 m. Shorter versions are easier to handle where space is limited, while longer versions provide more reach for line control. Their longer transport lengths are the trade-off.
Yes. The lightweight Seaguide XOG anti-tangle guides are explicitly suitable for braided line, making braid a supported choice for these spinning rods. No line diameter or breaking-strain range is supplied, so the guides alone do not establish a line-strength recommendation.
All rods separate into two sections and come in a cloth bag. Transport lengths are 97 cm for both 622 models, 110 cm for the 702UL, 115 cm for the 742L, 118 cm for the 762ML and 125 cm for both 802 models. Compare these lengths with your storage space before choosing a longer version.

The Veritas Sensi-S spinning rods are designed for light and ultralight freshwater lure fishing for perch, trout and chub. Lightweight 30T carbon blanks with solid carbon tips provide sensitivity and responsiveness for working small lures. All seven versions have a specified Fast action.
Lightweight Seaguide XOG anti-tangle guides provide line guidance and are suitable for braided line. The 2.44 m versions have nine guides including the tip, while the shorter versions have eight. The lightweight, open-design OVS reel seat supports comfortable handling and increases sensitivity. Split grips made from high-density EVA provide the hand contact surfaces, and a hook keeper allows easy, secure lure attachment between casts or when moving.
The Ultra Light (UL) versions share a 1–7 g lure rating. Choose the 622UL at 1.87 m for the shortest option, the 702UL at 2.13 m for an intermediate length, or the 802UL at 2.44 m for more reach. A shorter rod is easier to handle in confined spaces, while a longer rod gives more reach for line control. Their weights are 96 g, 105 g and 109 g respectively.
The Light (L) 742L combines 2.23 m length with a 2–10 g rating and weighs 111 g. The 622L is shorter at 1.87 m but rated for 3–14 g, allowing heavier lures than the 622UL of the same length. Choose between these Light versions by both available space and lure weight rather than length alone.
The Medium Light (ML) 762ML and 802ML are both rated for 3–15 g. The 762ML measures 2.29 m and weighs 117 g, while the 802ML measures 2.44 m and weighs 122 g. Compared with the UL models, these versions accommodate heavier lures but do not cover the same 1 g lower limit.
All versions are black, have two sections and are supplied in a cloth bag. Both 1.87 m rods have a transport length of 97 cm. The 702UL packs to 110 cm, the 742L to 115 cm and the 762ML to 118 cm. Both 2.44 m rods pack to 125 cm, so check this length against your available storage space.
