It is designed for heavy-lure fishing for large pike and muskies, including big softbaits and jerkbaits. Its 11.3 kg maximum drag and extended curved handle support fighting powerful fish and winding heavy lures, making it a choice for this heavy-lure setup.
This is the left-hand model, so you wind with your left hand. Its 4.9:1 gear ratio gives a stated retrieve of 69 cm per handle turn, which lets you judge line pickup when choosing a reel for your preferred lure retrieve.
The stated capacities are 270 m of 0.32 mm line, 230 m of 0.35 mm line or 190 m of 0.38 mm line. Compare the figure for your chosen diameter when planning how much line to spool, as capacity decreases with increasing diameter.
Yes. The Infini™ braking system offers a wide adjustment range, so its setting can be adapted to the fishing situation. The separate Power Stack Carbon Matrix drag system provides up to 11.3 kg of drag for fighting fish, rather than controlling the cast.
The X2- Cräftic™ alloy frame and side plate offer increased corrosion resistance, and the lubrication port simplifies access for maintenance. This gives you a dedicated point for lubrication rather than making the reel maintenance-free.

The Abu Garcia Revo Toro Beast 61 is a left-hand baitcasting reel designed for heavy lures and hard-fighting fish. It suits big softbaits, jerkbaits and other artificial lures for large pike and muskies. The Power Stack Carbon Matrix drag system delivers 11.3 kg of maximum drag to apply pressure during the fight.
This size 61 model weighs 380 g and has a 4.9:1 gear ratio with 69 cm of line retrieve per handle turn. The handle is on the left, so choose it if you prefer to wind with your left hand. Its extended, curved handle increases cranking leverage, which matters when retrieving heavy lures. Five stainless-steel HPCR™ bearings plus one roller bearing support the mechanism. The reel also features Duragear™ gearing and the DuraClutch design.
The Infini™ braking system offers a wide adjustment range for different fishing situations. The Infini II™ spool design supports casting performance and high loads, while an enlarged line guide complements the line-handling setup. Stated line capacities are 270 m at 0.32 mm, 230 m at 0.35 mm and 190 m at 0.38 mm. These diameter-specific figures let you compare the amount of line the reel holds for your setup.
The compact X2- Cräftic™ alloy frame and side plate provide increased corrosion resistance. A lubrication port makes routine maintenance easier by providing access for lubrication.
