Yes. The folding mechanism is designed for easy one-handed operation, leaving your other hand free for the rod. This claim applies to the folding mechanism, not to adjustment of the telescopic handle.
The extendable handle is aluminium, the soft-touch grip is rubber and the mesh is 100% polyester. The handle provides extra reach for netting, while the rubber grip offers a comfortable contact surface. The rubber is specified for the grip, not as a mesh coating.

The Abu Garcia Folding Net With Telescopic Handle 105 is a folding landing net for predator fishing, designed for anglers on the move or wading. Its compact folded form makes it convenient to carry, while the folding mechanism can be operated easily with one hand. This leaves the other hand free to hold the rod.
The aluminium handle extends to provide extra reach when netting a fish. A soft-touch rubber grip provides a comfortable contact surface for handling the net. The supplier describes the net as sturdy, and its mesh is made from 100% polyester.
A spring steel belt clip lets you carry the net on your belt between uses. The series also includes a magnetic net clip at no extra cost. It attaches to a belt or vest and provides a quick-release connection, keeping the net accessible while moving between spots or wading.
