It is intended for freshwater predator lure fishing. The supplier names river jigging for zander, large plugs and swimbaits for pike, and lure fishing for perch, including precise casts near bank structure. Choose it for these casting applications rather than treating the supplier's care advice about salt residue as a claim of saltwater suitability.
This is the right-hand version. Its 6.3:1 gear ratio gives a stated retrieve of 77 cm per handle turn, so check both the retrieve side and this line-pickup figure against your preferred handling and retrieve pace.
The six-pin centrifugal brake allows individual pins to be activated or deactivated to suit lure weight and casting technique. Together with the synchronized line guide's even winding, it helps reduce backlash, but does not mean that line overruns are impossible.
The stated capacity is 270 m of 0.29 mm line. The supplier recommends braid for low stretch and sensitivity, while monofilament can be used directly or as backing. Plan the amount you spool using the stated diameter-capacity pairing rather than assuming the same length for every line diameter.
Wipe it dry after each outing and check for dirt or salt residue. The supplier also calls for regular lubrication of bearings and moving parts with suitable reel oil to maintain smooth operation, so include those checks in your routine rather than only cleaning the exterior.

The Abu Garcia C4 26 Classic Baitcast Reel is a right-hand baitcasting reel for freshwater predator fishing. Its six-pin centrifugal brake lets you adapt casting control to lure weight and casting technique, helping reduce backlash. The supplier names river jigging for zander, casting large plugs and swimbaits for pike, and lure fishing for perch as intended uses, including accurate casts beside riprap, groynes and overhanging banks.
Individual centrifugal brake pins can be activated or deactivated to adjust braking to the cast. The synchronized line guide lays line evenly on the spool to support consistent casting performance and reduce uneven winding. The reel also features the Carbon Matrix™ braking system and a star drag, with a stated maximum drag of 6.8 kg for controlling line release during the fight.
The size 5600 reel has a 6.3:1 gear ratio and retrieves 77 cm of line per handle turn, a useful reference when judging retrieve pace. Four stainless-steel ball bearings and one roller bearing support smooth winding under load. A compact bent handle provides a comfortable winding position, while the one-piece reel foot gives a stable connection to the rod. This version is wound with the right hand and weighs 276 g, so check that the retrieve side suits your preferred handling.
The stated spool capacity is 270 m of 0.29 mm line. The supplier recommends braid for its low stretch and sensitivity, and also permits monofilament directly on the spool or as backing. Use the stated diameter and capacity when planning your line fill. Wipe the reel dry after fishing, check for dirt or salt residue, and regularly lubricate the bearings and moving parts with suitable reel oil.
