It is intended for freshwater predator fishing, including jigging softbaits for zander, casting heavier lures for pike and trolling large wobblers for pike. Its round baitcasting design and synchronized levelwind suit these casting and retrieving tasks from the bank or boat.
This is the right-hand retrieve version in size 6600, so you wind with your right hand. The supplier also lists a left-hand version in this size, which is the alternative if you prefer winding with your left hand.
The 6-pin centrifugal brake controls the spool during casting to reduce backlash. The star-adjusted multi-disc drag provides up to 5.7 kg of resistance when a fish takes line, so the two systems serve separate stages of fishing.
The stated capacity is 280 m of 0.35 mm line. A 5.3:1 gear ratio retrieves 65 cm per handle turn, giving you the capacity reference for spooling and the retrieve figure for comparing reels.
Wipe it with a damp cloth after use and regularly lubricate the bearings and moving parts with suitable reel oil or grease. This removes residue and helps maintain the smooth running of its three stainless steel ball bearings and one roller bearing.

The Abu Garcia C2-6600 is a round baitcasting reel for freshwater pike, perch and zander fishing from the bank or boat. Its 6-pin centrifugal brake controls the spool during casting to reduce backlash, while the synchronized levelwind distributes line evenly across the spool. Supported uses include jigging softbaits for zander, casting heavier pike lures and trolling large wobblers for pike.
The centrifugal casting brake helps control the cast, while a separate multi-disc drag provides up to 5.7 kg of drag force for playing fish. The star drag offers accessible adjustment, so casting control and fish-playing resistance can be managed separately.
Three stainless steel ball bearings and one roller bearing provide smooth running under load. The compact, bent handle supports comfortable winding during longer sessions. A one-piece reel foot provides a stable attachment to the rod.
This size 6600 version has a right-hand retrieve and weighs 320 g. Its 5.3:1 gear ratio retrieves 65 cm of line per handle turn, and its stated line capacity is 280 m at 0.35 mm. The supplier also lists left-hand availability in size 6600, but this item is the right-hand model. Choose according to the hand you prefer to wind with.
Wipe the reel with a damp cloth after fishing to remove dirt and residue. Regularly lubricate the bearings and moving parts with suitable reel oil or grease to maintain smooth operation.
