It is intended for freshwater predator lure fishing with softbaits, wobblers and jerkbaits. The supplier names pike, zander and perch and emphasizes heavier lures. This left-hand size 7000 reel weighs 608 g and has a one-piece reel foot, so choose a compatible baitcasting rod with a casting-weight rating suited to your lures.
The 4-pin centrifugal brake regulates spool speed during the cast to reduce backlash risk, especially with heavier lures or wind. The multi-disc drag controls resistance when a fish takes line and has a stated maximum of 9 kg. The casting brake helps manage the cast but does not guarantee freedom from backlash.
Capacity is 300 m of 0.41 mm line. The 4.1:1 gear ratio gives a retrieve of 56 cm per handle turn. Use the stated diameter when comparing spool capacity, and the retrieve figure when judging how the reel fits your preferred lure presentation.
No. The Instant-Anti-Reverse bearing is corrosion-resistant, but the supplier still calls for wiping the reel with a dry cloth after fishing and regularly maintaining moving parts with suitable reel oil or grease. Keep those steps in your routine rather than treating the bearing as a substitute for maintenance.

The Abu Garcia C1-7001 Ambassadeur is a left-hand baitcasting reel for freshwater predator fishing. Its 4-pin centrifugal brake controls spool speed during the cast, helping reduce backlash when casting heavier lures or fishing in wind. A synchronized line guide lays line evenly for the next cast.
The supplier describes use with softbaits, wobblers and jerkbaits for pike, zander and perch, including zander jigging along current seams and casting large wobblers for pike. The size 7000 reel weighs 608 g. Its one-piece reel foot provides a stable connection to a compatible baitcasting rod. Match the rod's casting-weight rating to the lures you intend to use.
The 4.1:1 gear ratio retrieves 56 cm of line per handle turn. Line capacity is 300 m at 0.41 mm diameter, giving a concrete reference when choosing line thickness and spool fill. The reel has two ball bearings.
The centrifugal casting brake and the multi-disc drag have different jobs. The 4-pin brake regulates spool speed on the cast, while the multi-disc drag provides even resistance when a fish takes line, with a stated maximum drag of 9 kg. The synchronized line guide keeps line lay even, which matters for repeatable casting. These features help control the cast but do not guarantee backlash-free fishing.
The extended handle with Power Knobs gives extra leverage when winding under load. A corrosion-resistant Instant-Anti-Reverse bearing prevents backward handle rotation for direct control during the fight. The Duragear™ brass main gear supports the drive under repeated use.
Wipe moisture and dirt from the reel with a dry cloth after use. Maintain moving parts regularly with suitable reel oil or grease. The corrosion-resistant anti-reverse bearing does not replace routine maintenance. The stated application is freshwater predator fishing.
