This is the right-hand version, with the handle on the right. Its one-piece foot fits a baitcasting rod with a compatible reel seat. Allow for the 608 g reel weight and intended line diameter when matching the rod.
The size 7000 reel holds 300 m of 0.41 mm line. The 4.1:1 gearing retrieves 65 cm per handle turn, giving you the capacity and retrieve figures needed to compare it with your planned setup.
No. The 4-pin centrifugal brake controls spool speed during casting to help limit overruns. The multi-disc drag provides even resistance during the fight, with a stated maximum of 9 kg. They address casting control and fighting resistance separately.
The supplier names heavy softbaits, large plugs and spoons for pike and zander, plus perch and drop-shot use. No lure-weight range is given. With a weight of 608 g and size 7000, check rod balance carefully if you intend to use it for perch or drop-shot fishing.
The Instant-Anti-Reverse bearing is described as corrosion-resistant, which does not establish saltwater protection for the whole reel. The supplier recommends wiping it dry after use, checking the line guide for deposits and regularly applying light oil to bearings and gearing.

The Abu Garcia C1-7000 Ambassadeur is a right-hand baitcasting reel for predator lure fishing. Its synchronized line guide distributes line evenly across the spool to support consistent casting, while the extended, bent handle with Power Knobs provides leverage when retrieving under load.
The 4-pin centrifugal brake controls spool speed during the cast and helps limit overruns when casting different lure weights. The multi-disc drag serves a different purpose, providing even resistance during the fight across its adjustment range. Maximum drag is specified as 9 kg.
This size 7000 reel weighs 608 g and holds 300 m of 0.41 mm line. Its 4.1:1 gear ratio delivers 65 cm of line per handle turn. The handle is on the right, so choose it if you retrieve with your right hand. The one-piece reel foot provides a stable mounting point on a baitcasting rod with a compatible reel seat. Match the rod to the reel's weight and intended line diameter.
The supplier describes use with heavy softbaits, large plugs and spoons for pike and zander, and also mentions perch and drop-shot fishing. At 608 g and size 7000, check the balance of the complete setup rather than treating this as a lightweight perch reel. No lure-weight range is supplied.
Two ball bearings are supplemented by a corrosion-resistant Instant-Anti-Reverse bearing that prevents unwanted backward handle movement during the fight. The corrosion-resistance claim applies to this bearing, not to the entire reel.
After use, wipe the reel with a soft, dry cloth and check the line guide for deposits. The supplier recommends regular light lubrication of the bearings and gearing to maintain function.
