The illuminated digital line counter tracks released line, helping you repeat a chosen distance when trolling. It indicates line length rather than directly measuring the lure's running depth.
Both are supported. Capacity ranges from 280 m at 0.35 mm to 195 m at 0.42 mm for mono, and from 425 m at 0.29 mm to 225 m at 0.41 mm for braid. The reel comes without line or a spare spool, so choose and load your line before use.
The AMBS-6500LC has a right-hand handle. Its compact bent handle and drag star support ergonomic winding and adjustment, so this model suits anglers who want to retrieve with their right hand.
The supplier lists trolling and pirking, while the manufacturer specifies freshwater. The line counter and 4.9 kg star drag support controlled line release and fish handling, but the evidence does not establish saltwater protection, so do not treat the pirking listing as a saltwater-resistance claim.

The Ambassadeur® S Line Counter is a round multiplier reel for trolling with an illuminated digital line counter. It lets you monitor the amount of line released and repeat a chosen distance behind the boat. The manufacturer specifies freshwater use, and the supplier also lists pirking as an application.
The AMBS-6500LC is size 6500, weighs 337 g and has a right-hand handle. Its 5.1:1 gear ratio retrieves 64 cm per turn. Two stainless steel ball bearings support smooth operation, while the compact bent handle and drag star give an ergonomic grip during repeated winding and drag adjustments. The anti-reverse is specified as Multi-Stop.
The Power Disk™ drag system uses synthetic drag material and a star drag with a maximum drag of 4.9 kg. The star lets you adjust resistance as a fish takes line. A four-pin centrifugal brake controls spool rotation during casting. The synchronized level wind distributes line across the aluminum spool as you retrieve, reducing the need to guide it by hand.
Monofilament capacity is 280 m at 0.35 mm, 230 m at 0.38 mm or 195 m at 0.42 mm. Braided-line capacity is 425 m at 0.29 mm, 320 m at 0.36 mm or 225 m at 0.41 mm. These figures let you compare line diameter with the length available for your setup. The reel is supplied without line and without a spare spool, so you need to spool your chosen line before fishing. Its finish is silver with black details.
