It is a round freshwater baitcasting reel for big waters and large predators with softbaits and hardbaits. The centrifugal brake supports controlled lure casts, so it suits a baitcasting setup rather than a fixed-spool spinning setup.
The handle is on the right and retrieves 56 cm per turn with a 4.1:1 gear ratio. Choose it if you want to crank with your right hand. The extended bent handle with power knobs increases cranking torque during a fight.
The Carbon Matrix™ carbon-fibre drag is adjusted with a star and provides up to 9 kg of drag. Its consistent pressure across the drag range supports controlled line release during a fight. The centrifugal brake controls casting rather than fighting drag.
No. The aluminium spool is not pre-spooled and no spare spool is included. Both mono and braid capacities are specified, so select your main line and spool the reel before use. Capacity ratings refer to length and breaking strain, not diameter.

The Ambassadeur® 7000 C3 Round is a round baitcasting reel for freshwater fishing on big waters and for large predators with softbaits and hardbaits. Its centrifugal casting brake helps control casts, while the Carbon Matrix™ drag system delivers smooth, consistent pressure throughout the drag range when playing a fish.
This size 7000 reel has a right-hand handle, a 4.1:1 gear ratio and a retrieve of 56 cm per turn. It weighs 610 g, a relevant consideration when balancing a casting setup. The extended bent handle with power knobs increases torque and brings the cranking hand closer to the reel for more efficient cranking during a fight.
Two stainless steel ball bearings and one roller bearing provide smooth operation. The corrosion-resistant instant anti-reverse bearing prevents backward handle movement for solid hook setting. Duragear™ brass gearing is designed for extended gear life.
The carbon-fibre Carbon Matrix™ system uses star-drag adjustment and has a maximum drag of 9 kg. A synchronized levelwind distributes line on the aluminium spool, improving line lay and castability.
The supplier's mono capacities convert to approximately 297 m at 7.7 kg, 229 m at 9.1 kg and 210 m at 11.3 kg breaking strain. Braid capacities are approximately 471 m at 13.6 kg, 384 m at 18.1 kg and 329 m at 22.7 kg. These are length/breaking-strain ratings, not line-diameter ratings.
The reel is silver with black details. It is supplied without line and without a spare spool, so choose and spool your main line before fishing.
