Every DEFY BLACK SPIN variant has two sections. Separate the sections and secure loose line and hooks for transport, ideally in a protective sleeve or tube.
Each rod has an Evolve Custom Seamless reel seat, single-foot stainless-steel guides with Zirconia inserts, a high-density EVA split grip and an Evolve Snag-less Hook Keeper.

The DEFY BLACK SPIN series consists of two-piece spinning rods for active lure fishing. Each taper is designed around lure presentation, casting and control during the fight, while the PVG24T graphite blank provides the core structure.
Evolve single-foot stainless-steel guides with Zirconia inserts route the line along the blank. The Evolve Custom Seamless reel seat holds the reel, and an Evolve Snag-less Hook Keeper provides a dedicated place for the hook between casts.
A split-grip handle made from high-density EVA provides the contact surfaces at the handle. Rod weights span 104 to 189 g across the range, so length and casting class both affect how each version feels in hand.
The range covers 183, 213, 244 and 274 cm lengths with casting weights from 3–15 g through 40–80 g. Choose a lighter 3–15 g or 5–20 g model for lighter lures. The 10–30 g versions provide a middle casting range, while 15–40 g and 40–80 g models accommodate progressively heavier lures. At the same casting weight, a longer rod offers extra length while adding weight. Every model has two sections, making the family easier to transport than a one-piece rod.
Check the blank, joints and guides for damage before use and keep both sections firmly joined. Keep clear of people and power lines when casting, secure hooks during transport, and store the dry rod in a protective sleeve or tube.
