Yes. The White Pellet is designed for freshwater catfish fishing with pellets from the bank, so this intended use does not require a boat. Its sensitive tip helps show the small twitches that often signal a pellet bite rather than a full run.
This version is 3.15 m long with a 200–300 g casting weight, Heavy power and a Medium Fast action. Use that casting range when matching your pellet-fishing setup, rather than treating the sensitive tip as a sign of a light rod.
The rod separates into two sections and has a transport length of 1.61 m. It weighs 396 g. Choose rod luggage and transport space that accommodate the 1.61 m packed length, not just the number of sections.
The fighter foregrip is covered with X-wrap anti-slip shrink tube for better hold and easier cleaning. This gives you a grippy contact area when playing a fish and a surface that is easier to clean after a session.

The Madcat White Pellet is a freshwater catfish rod designed for pellet fishing from the bank, without needing a boat. Catfish taking pellets often signal a bite with a twitch of the rod tip rather than a full run. Its sensitive tip makes those movements visible, while the blank provides casting and fish-playing power.
The 3.15 m rod has a casting weight of 200–300 g, Heavy power and a Medium Fast action. Its 30TC nano-carbon blank combines the power needed for this style of catfish fishing with the sensitive tip. The rod weighs 396 g.
The full grip uses shrink tube and EVA, with an EVA butt. X-wrap anti-slip shrink tube covers the fighter foregrip for better hold during a fight and easier cleaning afterwards. Nine SeaGuide XQ guides, including the tip guide, carry the line, and a SeaGuide reel seat holds the reel.
The two-piece construction reduces the 3.15 m fishing length to a transport length of 1.61 m. Check this packed length against your rod luggage and transport space.
