The Prologic Connected Tip/Butt Protector pairs soft neoprene covers for the rod tip and butt with an adjustable connecting strap. Designed for transporting two-piece rods from 3.05 to 3.96 m (10 to 13 ft), including carp rods, the protectors help prevent damage to the rod ends and reduce rattling during transport.
Hook-and-loop fasteners hold the protectors in place, while the connecting tension strap adjusts to secure the rod during transport. The set contains two protectors, one for the tip and one for the butt.
The connecting strap also serves as an adjustable shoulder strap, allowing a single rod to be carried securely over the shoulder. The supplier lists a transport length of 130 cm and a net weight of 112 g.
