Rapala X-Rap XR10 — Suspending Slashbait for Predator Fishing

The Rapala X-Rap XR10 is a 10 cm, 13 g suspending crankbait designed around the signature Slashbait action. Whether retrieved aggressively or with a classic wobble, this lure adapts to the angler's cadence and triggers strikes from pike, perch, zander and trout.

Slashbait Action & Suspending Design

The XR10 can be fished with a sharp, erratic slash-and-pause retrieve or a traditional steady wobble. On the pause it suspends in the strike zone at 1.2–1.8 m depth, giving hesitant predators extra time to commit.

Translucent Body & Holographic Flash

A textured, translucent body shell houses internal holographic foil that catches and scatters light from every angle. Combined with 3D holographic eyes, the result is a realistic minnow silhouette that flashes like a natural baitfish.

Long-Cast System & Balanced Flight

An internal long-cast weight transfer system shifts mass rearward during the cast, delivering long, accurate throws even in crosswinds. Once in the water, the weight returns to centre for a perfectly balanced swim.

Premium Hook Setup

The XR10 comes fitted with VMC Black Nickel round-bend treble hooks in sizes #4 and #5, plus a flash-feather teaser tail on the rear hook to add an extra trigger.

Hand-Tuned & Tank-Tested

Every X-Rap is tuned by hand and swim-tested in a tank before leaving the factory, ensuring consistent tracking and action straight out of the box.
