The Spro Atomos Spin is a robust yet lightweight spinning reel built for targeting predatory fish. With a carbon fibre body and fiberglass rotor, it delivers a great balance between durability and low weight.
The Atomos Spin features a lightweight carbon fibre housing paired with a fiberglass rotor, keeping the overall weight low at just 230 g without sacrificing structural integrity. A stainless steel main shaft ensures long-term durability and corrosion resistance.
The sealed drag system uses carbon fibre washers for smooth, reliable performance. This sealed construction helps protect internal components from dirt and moisture, making it suitable for a range of conditions.
Equipped with 6+1 shielded stainless steel ball bearings, the reel runs smoothly and with minimal friction. The gear ratio of 5.2:1 provides a balanced retrieve speed with 84.7 cm of line per crank, well suited for spinning applications.
The screw-in aluminium handle ensures a secure connection, while the EVA knob provides a comfortable and non-slip grip even in wet conditions. The reel has been treated with all-weather grease, so performance remains consistent regardless of conditions.
The spool holds 180 m of 0.18 mm line, making it a solid choice for light to medium spinning setups targeting perch, trout, and similar species.
