Choose by the stated running depth. At each length, Slow Sinking is lighter and covers a shallower range, while Sinking reaches a deeper range. For example, the 20 cm versions cover 0.5–2.5 m at 93 g and 1–3 m at 98 g. The chin ring allows further sink-rate adjustment, so compare the depth range as well as the weight.
The fish profile, weight and hook configuration change. The 15 cm versions weigh 35 or 40 g and have one size 3 treble. At 20, 25 and 30 cm there are two trebles in sizes 1, 2/0 and 3/0 respectively. The 40 cm versions weigh 685 or 712 g and have three trebles in assorted sizes. Match your tackle to the actual variant weight rather than length alone.
Yes. The supplied Carbon49 wire rig carries SGY treble hooks and is replaceable. The line-through channels are wide enough for the rig to pass through, making a rig change possible without forcing it through the body. Check the selected length for its hook count and size.
No. The 15 and 20 cm versions offer eight colours, including Firetiger and Clear Lemon Trout. Those two colours are not offered at 25 or 30 cm, and the 40 cm selection is limited to Bream, Clear Blue Trout, Clear Rainbow Trout and Tiger Trout. Choose your size and sink version before selecting a colour.
You receive one lure in the selected variant with its fitted wire rig and SGY trebles. It comes in a protective, reusable clamshell pack. Keep that pack to protect the lure during storage and transport rather than discarding it after opening.

The Savage Gear 3D Line Thru Trout is a soft swimbait for freshwater pike fishing. Its shape comes from a 3D scan of a real trout, with refined fin details and a realistic swimming action. Mesh-reinforced joints strengthen the articulated body, while the chin ring lets you adjust the sink rate and running depth. The body is scented with anise.
The range covers five lengths, each in Slow Sinking and Sinking versions. At the same length, Slow Sinking is lighter and covers a shallower depth range. Choose Sinking when you want the deeper stated range. Length determines the size of the fish imitation, while weight matters for matching the lure to your tackle.
Length | Slow Sinking weight | Stated depth | Sinking weight | Stated depth |
|---|---|---|---|---|
15 cm | 35 g | 0.3–2 m | 40 g | 0.6–3 m |
20 cm | 93 g | 0.5–2.5 m | 98 g | 1–3 m |
25 cm | 180 g | 0.5–2.5 m | 193 g | 1–3.5 m |
30 cm | 290 g | 0.5–2.5 m | 303 g | 1.5–4 m |
40 cm | 685 g | 0.5–3 m | 712 g | 2–5 m |
The 15 cm versions offer the smallest profile and lowest weights in this family. The 20, 25 and 30 cm versions progressively increase the profile and tackle load. The 40 cm versions are the largest and heaviest, so check the weight before choosing your setup. The chin ring provides further adjustment within your presentation.
Both sink versions at 15 and 20 cm are available in Artic Char, Bream, Clear Blue Trout, Clear Lemon Trout, Clear Rainbow Trout, Firetiger, Golden Albino and Tiger Trout. At 25 and 30 cm, the colours are Artic Char, Bream, Clear Blue Trout, Clear Rainbow Trout, Golden Albino and Tiger Trout. At 40 cm, choose Bream, Clear Blue Trout, Clear Rainbow Trout or Tiger Trout. Select length and sink version first, then choose from the colours offered for that size.
The lure comes with sharp SGY treble hooks on a changeable Carbon49 wire rig. The line-through channels are wide enough for the wire rig to pass through, allowing you to replace it without forcing it through a narrow channel.
The 15 cm versions carry one size 3 treble. The 20 cm versions have two size 1 trebles, the 25 cm versions two size 2/0 trebles and the 30 cm versions two size 3/0 trebles. The 40 cm versions have three trebles in assorted sizes. Hook count and size therefore change with lure length, not colour.
Each pack contains one lure in the selected variant. The protective clamshell pack is reusable, so keep it for storage and transport.
